Turtle Lodge

Turtle Lodge is a 25 m² lodge for two, tucked into the forest above the pool. Inside: a queen-size bed with two bedside tables, a dining corner for two, and a small kitchen with a mini fridge, freezer, coffee and tea maker and the utensils you need for light meals. The bathroom is private, with a hot-water shower. Air conditioning with a HEPA filter, a ceiling fan, a row of hooks for your things, and your own entrance. Double sliding doors open onto a 15 m² terrace with a grill, outdoor furniture and a parasol, looking over the forest and down to the pool. Take your morning coffee out here with your eyes and ears open — you never know which monkey, or what else, will come past. Salt, pepper, oil and coffee are in the kitchen; the rest you bring. Puerto Jiménez is 25 minutes away, and there is no restaurant on site. The lodge runs entirely on our own solar system and well water. Simple, and everything you need — whether you are a couple, two friends, or one person who wants the forest to themselves.
